About IMCC

The series of International Manufacturing Conference in China (IMCC) has been a biennial event since 1983, with twenty successful sessions in the past. This prestigious event covers a broad spectrum of research areas in advanced manufacturing technology. Since the 15^th session, the conference series has been co-sponsored by the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES) and the International Academy for Production Engineering (CIRP).

The 21st International Manufacturing Conference in China (IMCC2025) will be held in Guangzhou from 23 to 26 October 2025, jointly organized by the Production Engineering Institute and Extreme Manufacturing Institute of the CMES, and Guangdong University of Technology, with the support of South China University of Technology, Sun Yat-sen University, Foshan University, Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University, and Shantou University as the co-organizers.

During the conference, the Department of Engineering and Materials Science of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC)will organize the report and exhibition of outstanding project in mechanical engineering for scholars and industrial practitioners to share the research findings.

Paper Submission and Publication

The official language of the conference is English. Authors are required to submit their papers according to the provided template that will be available for downloading from the conference website (www.imcc2025.cn), ensuring that the work submitted has not been previously published. All submissions will undergo a peer-review process, and selected papers will be invited for presentation at the conference.

Excellent papers will be recommended for publication in the following journals: the Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering, Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering, International Journal of Abrasive Technology, International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing, and the IMCC Conference Proceedings (in Electronic form).

It is mandatory for authors of accepted papers to attend the conference and present their work.
