IMCC2025 Announcement and First Call for Papers
The International Manufacturing Conference in China (IMCC) is an international conference held every two years since 1983. IMCC has been successfully held for 20 times, and the topics have been broadened to all fields of advanced manufacturing technology. Since the 15th to the 20th IMCC, the conference is sponsored by the International Academy for Production Engineering (CIRP) and the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering (CMES), and organized by Chinese Production Engineering Institution (CPEI).
The 21st International Manufacturing Conference in China (IMCC2025) will be held in Guangzhou from 23 to 26 October, 2025, jointly organized by the Production Engineering Institute of the CMES, Extreme Manufacturing Institute of the CMES, and Guangdong University of Technology, with the support of South China University of Technology, Sun Yat-sen University, Foshan University, and Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University as the co-organizers.

Paper Submission and Publication
The official language of the conference is English. Authors are required to submit their papers according to the provided template that will be available for downloading from the conference website (coming soon), ensuring that the work submitted has not been previously published. All submissions will undergo a peer-review process, and the selected papers will be invited for presentation at the conference. The excellent papers will be recommended for publication in the following journals: the Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering, Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering, International Journal of Abrasive Technology, International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing, and the IMCC Conference Proceedings (in Electronic form).
It is mandatory for authors of accepted papers to attend the conference and present their work.
